Farris, no, Viasat doesn't offer senior discounts but, they do offer some pretty affordable plans in most areas.
I'd also suggest adding Easy Care on a fixed income, that saves you having to have 95.00 all at once should you need a service call and, right now, it's free for the first 90 days of new service.
I've used Easy Care 3 times since it's introduction. 1 - an idiot felled a tree on my dish - needed new dish and TRIA. 2 - Addition to home, modem had to be moved. 3 - SNR degraded, needed service call to fix that.
Nice to just call and not have to worry about paying for the service call.
And I have had the service 6+ years. Never had a service call. In 12 years of Exede/Wildblue I had one service call.
Experiences may vary, but it's your money, so choose how you want to spend it, but I wouldn't recommend it. Viasat isn't losing money by offering it. Just another revenue stream.
Hi Farris, Bev is correct. We do not have a senior citizen discount. Please check our plans at https://viasat.com/internet for the plans and pricing may be available in your area.
