I'm must curious what the lease fee is for exactly.

I really wish I could buy the equipment outright because it is costing me even more since my state taxes the lease fee-- and taxes in my state are pretty high. Sales tax just went up to 11% in my town and it's 10% in other places in the state.

I'm jealous, I'd happily pay 10 or 11% in town. State is 7% then the there is the 10% the city adds, making sales tax 17% in town. I don't live in town so just 7% for me out here but, anything I need to buy, I either pay the 17% or, drive an extra 30 miles to Texas where it's 10% in town.

Holy ***! Do you mind if I ask in what state you live to have 17% tax? Or are you outside the US? That is just insane!

Do you still have income tax where you live?

I was griping to someone about how high the sales tax is and they said "Well, at least you don't have to pay income tax." and I had to point out they were wrong. My state has income tax and sales tax.

Thank you.
Hmm.. So, could I have the initial $199 lease fee from when I first signed up subtracted from the $299 one-time fee?
Or could I conceivably just pay that $299 to stop the monthly fees so it wouldn't be as expensive each month?
And just to be clear, if someone does the $299 payment, there is no more monthly equipment fee ever?
If anything should happen to the equipment (damaged by weather or just craps out due to age), would it require the lease fee again if the equipment had to be replaced?
