How long does it typically take to get a response from the email address shown above? Also, why cannot that question be answered here in the community - there are obviously a number of subscribers who have posed similar questions. Can - or cannot - detailed data usage be shown? How else are we to be certain that we are getting what we pay for?

I haven't found a more detailed view on my.exede.net. I believe support has a more detailed information than Exede provides to their customers via the account management screen.

However, you can utilize a router that would give you more detailed information. I am using a router that has DD-WRT installed which has both real-time and bandwidth usage per day for each month. You can buy a router with DD-WRT pre-installed from Buffalo Networks (http://www.buffalotech.com/products/wireless/single-band-wireless-routers/airstation-highpower-n300-...).

I am thinking of trying a router that utilizes Gargoyle (http://www.gargoyle-router.com) which can do a breakdown of bandwidth by host along with setting individual bandwidth caps; which might be useful to ensure a rouge computer doesn't eat up all your bandwidth.

Anyway, hope that helps.

The main reason they can't answer that here is because they don't know who you are..and the reason for the email is for security for your not posting your account number on here for the world to see.

And yes as Joshua mentioned Asus routers along with some others do have a data meter built in to help keep track of your data

I went to Support Chat and they found a glitch or something happened and my usage time was messed up but got reset correctly. Deborah K. worked it all out for me and guided me in a couple directions to help the issue. Checked Modem Usage and found that I hadn't used up my time and even gave me credit to help the account. Thanks to the Chat line they have. That's where i'm going the next time, that is if there is a next time. She gave me this link for Email settings once the email has been migrated but mine have not as of yet. http://help.exede.net/articles/General/How-to-set-up-Exede-email-with-Outlook-Apple-Mail-and-other-email clients
Thanks again Deborah K for your help.

I downloaded a program that tracks data usage, because of I ever have to go to court with them I have proof. Most my time is used in middle of night. It breaks it down hourly dauly however I want to  break it down. And it runs on my computer not on line, Has nothing to do with downloading, its a program the same as my clock on here is a program.
