Hello Rokendra,

We both utilize satellite internet services to our customers. The difference will largely be between what plans are offered. Our sales team can get in touch with you and see what your needs are and see if we're a good fit. We do have some exciting things coming towards the end of the year that we're all very eager to offer to our customers. Feel free to call us at 1-855-627-2459 !

I had Hughes net for many years.  The last year I changed my modem 8 times in 3 months.  It kept going out.  I finally got fed up and changed to Exede.  It is wonderful, great service, great plans and good speed.  I will not change again.  I live out of range of any other service, other than satellite.

No comparison Rokendra,  Hughesnet is far from the Exede experience in Satellite internet in all aspects, service, plans, and the future of the satellite industry.  A few years from now I doubt that the Hughesnet product will still be competitive in this market.  Since u sign a 2 yr contract for both, EXEDE would be my choice hands down and has been for the last 5 years.

I started with Wildblue in April 2008, and then upgraded Exede when it became available in early 2012. I have been very happy with the speed and the service in general.  I have had several neighbors who have been with Hughesnet, and they are not all that happy with what they have, after seeing how well my Exede performs.

I install DTV, Exede and Hughesnet. I have replaced a lot of hughesnet system with Exede over the last few years. I use Exede at home. I would only recommend Exede.

I've looked at HugesNet plans but, for me Exede is the better option. I've been a Viasat customer since 2006 and, Exede since 2012, before that was WildBlue. I've no major complaints. Yes I'd like a bigger bandwidth allowance but, I've had good service and, who doesn't want more when metered internet is your best option.

Hughes net has one of the fastest download speeds for satellite , YET offers one of the slowest upload speeds. AS a gamer I have many friends over the years game on Hughes net and they complain a lot about the stability (which is important while online gaming) of Hughes net. While Exede is still satellite it seems to offer (overall) a more stable signal. Plus, Exede has plans that offer free zones where Hughes net doesn't (as last I have heard) offer them on any plans. My current neighbor is a Hughes net customer, and I often ask her how it is holding up for her.
