Internet Speed And Data Usage

I was told a lot of things when first starting my internet with exede it was great for 8 months then they over sold there service and where all stuck with this I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone anymore I will not pay to have a service "expert" come out to my house and charge me a arm and leg to fix there own problems my data usage is threw the roof even know we are not using that much data I know because i have been tracking it with my modem  soon as I can cancel I will i feel bad now because i have recommended this internet service to 2 different people and now feel like a jerk because they are now also upset with there service and are pointing the finger at me corporate greed wins again

If you refuse to have a person come out and look at/fix your equipment, then how in the world do you expect your issues to be solved?  I've heard this from other posters on this forum and can't understand the logic behind it.  If your making some kind of statement, then your only hurting yourself.  If you can't afford to pay the service charge all at once, then subscribe to the  maintenance plan they offer,  $5.99 a month.
