Internet on phone, NOT computer?

Internet on my phone has been working just fine, HOWEVER- internet on my computer will not work at all! I am just back home now from being gone for almost a month and not using internet. My internet was working just fine before I left.

Is your phone using cellular data or, your Exede connection? If it's using your Exede connection, then your router is probably fine. I would try connecting the computer to the modem with an Ethernet cable, see if it can get online that way. If it can, the wireless adapter in your computer has probably gone bad.

Hi Truly McCone, Thank you for reaching out to us.  Do a complete reboot of your system, which is one of the first troubleshooting steps to try.
                                         Restarting yoursystem Here is the correct way to restart your wireless router andExede modem (and yes, the order really does make a difference!)

1.    Power-down thecomputer connected to your Exede modem

2.    Power-down the router(unplug it)

3.    Power-down the modem(unplug it)

4.    If you have anEthernet cable connecting your computer to the modem, disconnect it. Wait amoment, then plug it back in.

5.    Make sure the Ethernetcable from the router is plugged securely into the back of the modem. *Note: Wireless routers do not require a cable connection to thecomputers they support

6.    Plug in the modem.Wait until all LED lights on the modem are solid (2 minutes)

7.    Power-up the router

8.    Power up your computer
