I own an apartment complex and a couple of tenant had this install without my permission. They installed a poll over a gas line and I want it moved or removed. I can't get owner of local company to return a call.

Hi Jason, I'm just a subscriber that helps out here when I can but, you can email exedelistens@viasat.com or, call 855-463-9333. Other contact option can be found at the link below but, those two are the fastest.

Standard practice is for the installer to get a statement signed by tenant that he has landlord's (or HOA's) permission. This puts the responsibility on the tenant for removal. I doubt if ViaSat will accept responsibility.

you should have a lease, and hand book for your renters the dos and donts. Some we let them have a dish not on the side of the bldg or apt roof they run the cable in the side of the air con. on the side        dish has too be poll mount. installer should called the owner of the apt owner. installer should eat this meaning remove the cable

Unfortunately I believe Jim is correct. This falls on the installer BUT we can try to get them to contact you to work it out.

You said I was correct and then contradicted it. Was that a typo?

sorry meant the installer should have had verification by the tenant that this was approved by HOA/Landlord. The tenant will be ultimately responsible for getting this removed and the fees associated (if on a roof they'll have to get the installer to come out and remove)
