In restricted speed...again. keeps disconnecting my android phone but not my daughters iphone. It brings me to Google home page

Perhaps you can provide more details. Like, what have you already tried that didn't fix the problem, the settings on the telephones that you've checked that didn't fix the problem.

The Exede connection works and a telephone works. I'm inclined to think the phone that doesn't work has a yet to be diagnosed issue.

It's only when we are in data restriction. I'm not too phone savvy so no clue why it always sends me to Google home page. Sorry, thought someone else may have run into this before.

Sounds like your Android device has the "Smart Network Switch" option - some report that disabling that option corrects the problem. Perhaps someone here with an Android device can tell you how to do that - otherwise Googling Android Smart Network Switch might provide an answer.

But always be cognizant whether you're using WiFi or cellular data with that option. It tries to make life easier on everyone in general - life ain't easy for a satellite internet user and some of this "smart" stuff brought to us by well meaning developers aint so smart on satellite!

Hi kathy,   Yes, it appears it is an issue with your phone.  Have you spoken with your phone provider?  Have you been able to back on the network with your phone?
