I'm having a lot of problems with my internet. Very slow and hardly works even during the free night zone for anything but surfing.

Back around Thanksgiving my internet did a little 'hiccup'. I noticed even during my slowed speed I was able to do things during the day that I could only of done with data. But all our data was used up, I kind of smiled about this and continued to use it freely.
Then something started going wrong. While I was able to play my games and watch videos (Albeit have to wait for them to load) during the day. During my late night free zone my internet goes crazy.
I play League of Legends - and I'm usually able to play to a happy point. 
Used to, Lately my internet skyrockets.
Random moments where my ping will just go flying up super high during the LNFZ. 
Honestly I think it's your side, It could be my router - but I need help badly about this.
I live off of the internet, and I use the LNFZ alot. 
With the LNFZ acting up like this, it kind of devastates me. 
My Parents - who pay for this but expect me to handle the majority of the tech stuff don't think anything is wrong because they only use the internet for fb and surfing the web. 
Help? Please?
I live in Virginia. If you're wondering, and I reset my modem/router quite often.

Jess - Not sure what beam you are in.  I'm in Beam 329 and located near King George.  Beam 329 has congestion issues most of the time.  Most mornings around 10am I can download at 18-20Mbps, but this will drop to 3-5Mbps in the evenings.  LNFZ gets slammed right after midnight and speeds drop to 2-3Mbps but by 3am it is humming along at full speed.  I am kinda surprised that they are still selling subscriptions in Beam 329, but hopefully it won't get too much worse and even at its worst it is still better speeds than the old WildBlue I was on for over 8 years.

I have sent a couple of emails regarding my issue as well and still have received no response. I will call, but often when I call the satellite drops and I lose my connection. My issues started around Thanksgiving also. I'm not a gamer, but even loading e-mails and surfing is slooow.
