It was for me too, unbelievable they can get away with that scam and look you in the eye, well tell you on the phone well look at the fine print you may not get those 1-5mbps speeds.  No way i'm paying them a dime more than i have to, in fact i downgraded to Essential 10, if its going to be worthless after priority data I might as well pay the least possible.

Hello Don,

Most likely at this particular time the 30GB is the best we can offer. You can always check on my.exede.net if anything larget may be offered periodically. We are launching our long awaited ViaSat 2 satellite at the end of the year and expect to offer new plans shortly after. So we'll have an announcement that follows after or near that time frame.

Until then if you're seeing below 1-5mbps during non-peak hours please let us know at exedelistens@viasat.com

it means we won't be seeing new plans until sometime in 2017. 30 GB is it unless you go to a business plan and, for that you do need a business name.

Checking like Exede Brad commented above is a good idea.  I had just recently gone to consider bumping up to Libery 18 during the winter when we like to stream live games periodically and found the Freedom Plan was now available in our beam so naturally switched to that.  Additionally, if we were to switch back the Liberty Plans were lower in price than we had been paying so it pays to check.  We actually had pretty good luck with Liberty 12 but what we want to stream will work better on priority speeds than Liberty speeds so the bigger plan was welcome.  Perhaps the Freedom plan will be available in more beams once the new satellite launches?
