Idea to post outages on this forum

Could EXEDE post outages to beam and gateways and estimated time (as you are monitoring the situation)? It would be a proactive way to communicate problems, keep customers informed, and save customer service. I feel like some of the responses in this forum are a bit condescending, and it leads to more frustration.

Customer service suggested that I mention how much customers would appreciate advance notice when Exede will be down for maintenance, because "They" read the community blog. You'd think that they could convey our feelings on this considering they're customer service?

I agree that it would help if outages due to maintenance were posted here at the least. Any gateway outage could be posted, even w/o estimated time of restoration of service, at least we would know if it was more likely Exede or us having the problem.

Even a gateway up or down list, similar to what MMO games use for server status would be useful. That could be a webpage we could go to, nothing more needed.
