Icon with quick update of your data usage

I'm an older woman and I live almost off the grid. I finally updated to a "Liberty" package which I just love. Going from 10 to 150GB a month has been great. I hate having to go online to see how much data I have or haven't used. Any possibility of having some type of icon on my Roku or basic internet? An icon which I can just glance at instead of having to go through the process of having to log on to this site. It sure would make it easier for me and I'm sure other's as well. It would also help all of us figure out a little more carefully where our data is going to.

Hi Katie,

I've been using Networx (by Soft Perfect) for years to monitor my data use.  It's a free program that installs a little icon on the taskbar, and it shows me my total daily data use when I hover over it.  It also reports total monthly use.  I'd be in trouble without it, and I've never exceeded my data limit.  I have only a laptop; I don't know if it will monitor data used by multiple devices.

Some folks have recommended Glasswire.  It is also free, and it tells you which sites are using how much data.  It has little popup messages that notify you when your internet is being accessed by which site.  I tried it for a while, but it actually gave me more info than I really wanted.

It would be great if Exede offered an easy to use data monitor.  One of these programs might help in the meantime.

Thank you so much Deb. I will certainly give it a try. Our data disappears quickly as well. My problem is that I stayed with several family members in the past two years and I fell in love with streaming movies. I've been ill for a long time so my smart tv has become my best friend. Unfortunately, that can suck up a ton of data. Once again thank you!!! Happy holidays!!!

I have made a sort of icon by adding the log in page to my screen with iPhone and then save log in and password so I just tap to open and tap to log in..

Thank you, Carrie. That sounds good, but being that I am off grid I do not get cell phone reception so I do not own an iPhone.

Thank you Carrie. That is an option but then it also consumes data which I try so hard to keep for streaming movies.

Another option, Katie, is something new we've been rolling out but not fully released yet. If you use Facebook Messenger, go on there and search for 'Exede EasyChat.' It's a bot you can use to check your data, set usage alerts and more. You'll authenticate your account with your phone number.

Thanks, Alex, Problem is I know what I would like and the entire issue is I don't want to have to log into any website to see my usage. It would just be so much easier for this old woman to have an icon right next to my volume control icon. It defeats the purpose if I have to log in anywhere else.
