With all the negative things people post I would like to post something positive. I live in a remote area where I can't get phone service or dsl or cable or anything. Exede has been a life saver for me and has improved my life a lot. I was able to get a college degree thanks to exede and now I'm a engineer.
People are talking about filing with the fcc about their discontents. Why don't you file about the monopolists (at&t, Comcast, Verizon) that have iron grip monopolies over the industry. Exede has provided us with the versatility and complexity of a satellite system and they have provided it at a cost comparable to the monopolists who have the ease of just walking and installing their cables on the ground. Exede is doing us all a favor by adding competition to a market long dominated by monopolists and market manipulators.
While the monopolists have focused on overcharging us and providing service only to the low hanging fruit customers exede has provided access to those of us who were left out of the internet.

Jim, I understand you're upset with the performance of the service, I do see you have a open case with Diana, I'm showing that she should have sent a reply (check the spam if you're not able to see an answer from her). She'll gladly work with you to the best of her ability to sort this issue out for you.
JS, appreciate all the positive feedback, it's great to hear satisfaction like this. Unfortunately I think a lot of the cable and DSL companies are going to be wasting a lot of money to pay people to send complaints our way via this forum because we're currently not able to compete with them. We cover areas they refuse to go to or expand into, they on the other hand offer faster speeds and unlimited data (although many are moving to a data cap plan).
