I was scheduled for installation last Thursday. No one ever came. I had no luck calling customer service. Have I been charged?

I got an email that my service would be installed August 28. No one came. Customer service was no help. Gave me a number to call my installer. Left messages. No return call. Have I been charged? Can you get an installer that would like the business?

You should not have been charged, I know that when I signed up for service there was an activation process that you go through. Although it might not hurt to check your credit card statement online, just to be safe.

Did you sign up for service directly through Exede or through a 3rd party? I would recommend calling Exede's support number to check the status of your install. You can find the support number here: https://www.exede.com/contact-us-exede/

I've told my story before, but it took 3 tries and 1 year to get upgraded from Wildblue to Exede.  No one ever showed up or called.  Part of my delay was I figured I didn't want someone installing my satellite that didn't know how to use a cell phone.  But, seriously that level of screw up is unusual.  Follow Joshua's advice and you will get back on track.
