I remember not only Viasat staff but also sellers of the service telling us we would love what is coming. Well, the plans are here, at least for the lucky. If I was a new customer the plans would be available to me. I am a customer since 2013 with the promise of what the new bird would bring since I signed on. I am definitely not feeling it. The start of the heavy usage evening and this is the results of my speed test. I have used 18.5GB of my 150GB Freedom plan.
We have had 12 inches of snow overnight. On backup generators right now, power has been out for over 9 hours now. Roughly 3 inches of snow on my dish, RxSNR is at 1.0 (normally is 9.0). I just ran a speed check and got 10.0 Mbps. I normally see around 18.0 this time of day, but the speed is more than I expected considering the snow on the dish and a low RxSNR. I am on a 12 Mbps plan. Beam 314.
