Might your email have been included in the email that ViaSat was shutting down?  They sent a notice out a while ago to those who were going to be affected.

I don't know if this is the cause of your issue, and this is only concerning the email provided by ViaSat (Exede and WildBlue).

i used to get those from time to time on various sites when I had Viasat. I just chalked it up to the latency and slow speed causing issues. The 403 errors were not consistent, they just happened here and there.
