Say that you asked question on a site such as yahoo answers about suicide and self harm to yourself.

Say that post was taken down and your were contacted by the admin to reach out for help if you feel you are in danger to yourself.

Say that admin was still very concerned and got your IP address and time, could they phone your internet provider and tell them about a possible suicidal person? Would internet provider care/send ambulance to your house or police to check on you?

This thought is just something that ran into my head as I use to once be suicidal and made posts online asking how to do it which were taken down before. I'm fine now though. I promise.

Different forums have different policies and protocols for dealing with the possibility of self harm and/or suicide. I don't know Yahoo's policy or protocol nor Viasat's

What I do is that everyone I know personally that works for Viasat is good people and, I believe they would dispatch paramedics or police to your address if they truly believed self harm or suicide were imminent or, had already happened at your home.

I know I would ask them to send help if I felt you were in imminent danger of harming yourself.

To anyone out there that may be feeling down, depressed, like self harming or, suicidal, please follow the link below - talk to someone that knows how to help you.

Hello TheCatWillStrike, Viasat would do all we could to get help for anyone reaching out for help.  We would do everything in our power if asked to get help and support.
