You don't pay by how much data you use. You pay the same if you use no bytes, 2 bytes or use up all your data.

Like subscribing to telephone, cable or anything else, you pay a set monthly fee, use it or not. Say yo subscribe to DirecTV for 80.00/moth because that's the package you chose. Your TV gets stolen or breaks and, you can't replace it for a month - you still have to pay DTV 80.00 per month even though you can't watch a single program because you have no TV to watch it on. If you went on vacation and only watch 1 hour of TV all month, you would still pay 80.00, if you never turned the TV off all moth, you would still pay 80.00.

Exede works the same way, use it or not, you pay each month for the package you chose.

Depending on your plan, there is the fee for that plan, possibly Exede Voice, the equipment lease fee, taxes and fees associated with the service, Like any service you subscribe to and, around this time of year, we each get a once yearly property tax added to our bill. Viasat must pay that for all of the dishes and, they, of course, as is right, pass a small percentage of that on to each subscriber since we are the ones using the dishes in our yard to on our roofs.

You can log in to your account management page and view your bill to see exactly what you were charged for. If you cannot log in to that page, email your account information to the email address in Exede Brad's post below this one or, call customer service at 855-463-9333 and someone there can tell you what you were billed for.

Hi Bettie,

I can look for you, but due to this being a very open and public forum I'll need you to email us at exedelistens@viasat.com OR you can call 855-463-9333 with your account information. This forum isn't  tied to your exede account in any way, so we'll need that information to look for you. We ask that you call or email because we don't want your personal information publicly posted.

Hello Bettie,

As the other 2 on here mentioned, what you are paying for is a subscription fee for being able to use the internet and regardless of use you pay a set fee each month. If you had a spike compared to prior months you can view your bill at my.exede.net or you can email us at exedelistens@viasat.com and we can look into it for you
