Trouble with data

I have alerted customer service several times to the seemingly leaky system they hooked me up to. Gigabytes seem to just flow and flow and flow whether the keyboard is manned or not.
To  make matters worst I am limited to the skull crushing plans that max out data 1/2 to 2/3rds of the way through the month. While the zip code right next to me, which I could literally walk to get the "FREEDOM" plan which is unlimited for $99 a month. I am paying $92 a month for a 15 GB plan with a 6 month promo of 30 GB. I got a service restriction email yesterday that I maxed my 30 GB with 9 days left to refresh. So literally my neighbor gets unlimited for $7 more per month than I get the limited 15 GB...... WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT PICTURE EXEDE?!?!?!

If you've only contacted via phone so far, send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com along with your account and contact information. You'll likely get a better response than from phone support.

As far as availability of plans go, it's determined by the spot beam footprint and current capacity of the beam your assigned. Picayune, MS is right on the edge of a couple of beams - you appear to be on the wrong side of the line in the sand.

I sent exedelistens an email. Hopefully it works. I'm familiar with Beam Footprints, the interesting thing is there are a few near me with the Freedom plan after contacting them. When I say "near me" I mean very near me...

Then you're likely familiar with beam overlap and a reasoned and calm inquiry along those lines may yield a resolution. I find myself in similar circumstances on another matter being right on an arbitrary ZIP Code boundary.

P.S. Be patient with the exedelistens email... it's the weekend and am not sure moderators are active right now.

it doesn't matter. i have been calling them monthly or even more often about their false claims of data usage (when we are not even home) and all i get are different stories every time...they are not even concerned about whether their story is possible! we need to team up and do something about this abhorrent behavior

Once again you'll find a difference in the level of support received going the email route above rather than "calling".

Jamie, I responded to your comment on another post, but wanted to reassure you that we are reporting the data as accurately as possible. I have some more detailed internal tools and should be able to get you more information. Please send me a message at exedelistens@viasat.com with your account and contact information.
