I think exceed needs to go unlimited and lower their prices. I didn't ask for Exede, I was farmed here without my permission and have had problems since day 1.  I'm handicapped and am on the internet continuously, and don't need to be hindered. NOONE from Exede seems to care, they have thiers.

If you don't like the service then nobody is forcing you to use it.  They are offering a service and it's up to you whether or not you want to use it.

There is only so much bandwidth available on the satellite.  If Exede gives you unlimited bandwidth then who among the rest of us should suffer so you can get what you want?  They offer a fair and an equitable service depending on how much bandwidth you use.  There is no free lunch.  If you want more then you have to pay more.

Think of satellite internet as the water line coming into your house.  If you open one or two faucets you get full force of water.  If you flush the toilet, open up all the faucets and run the shower what is going to happen to your water pressure?  Next to nothing....right?  That is why happens if they offer unlimited internet.  It can't be done as there is only so much data [water] that can flow through the faucet [satellite transponders] at any given time.  If they do as you say the service would slow down so much it would be unusable for everyone.

They are running a business and hopefully to make a profit.  You pay more you get more just like it is in real life that the rest of us live in.  I'm sorry your handicapped but we all have our problems you know.

Since you don't know the situation. I would suggest that you hold your piece. I was new here, and was told that this was the service for my area that came with my plan. Since I'm slightly handicapped and needed service (to communicate with Dr. and others). I assumed it was on the up and up. (It wasn't) .  I am using it because, once I was hooked up I found it came with a mandatory 2 yr contract, So I was locked in. As far as getting was I want, they're not giving me anything. I AM Paying.  You too can have unlimited service, if you Pay for it, like I did back home.  I would never take away your right to be upset, or critize you, if you felt you had been dealt with unfairly.Like I GET THE IMPRESSION you're trying to do to me.

Doug Cook, You don't have to be so RUDE!! E Lena I know what you are saying. I HAD unlimited internet when I lived in town and loved it. I was able to watch my movies with the family on Netflix and Amazon Tv. and do all kinds of things over the net and for a nice comparable price. Now I live out in the country 7 miles from the closest town and I can't have my internet provider anymore. So were are really lost. Now we just do game night and don't even use the net much bcuz afraid we will go over. I have never had to do that. So as soon as I find a provider with unlimited I will be done with Exede. Even if I have to break the contract and pay to get out of it it will be worth it. I was paying a lot less for unlimited and now I'm paying way more for limited???? Don't make sence to me..
