I did have the 10gig package for $60.78, but would have to buy more before the billing date, or stay off my pc. I switched to the $79.99 package, which says 12-15 gigs per month. When I chose it, it stated 15 gigs per month. Now it says 12-15 gigs & I get charged $90.78 per month. I can't afford that much.

I am not aware of any plans with variable data caps. Where are you getting this information? A screen shot of the plan you have would be helpful.

She probably means 12mbs and 15gigs.  12-15

Right, that plan would be 12mbs (the 'up to' speed) and 15gig of data. Also they usually charge for equipment rental at 9 something per month. And then a small amount in some tax or other. So any plan you chose will have the extra added on.

That makes more sense, 15 GB at 12 Mbps for 79.99 plus the 9.99 equipment lease fee, that's 89.98 add taxes for your location and, 90.78 is about right for that plan, with the equipment lease.

If you feel that your bill is in error, you can call Customer Care at 855-463-9333 or, send an email with your account and contact information as well as questions about your bill to exedelistens@viasat.com and, someone can go over your bill with you.

Thank you for the information.  My old plan was $60.78 including everything.  The new Freedom plan may be a better choice, but the information says I can't change back if I don't like it, because I'm changing the equipment too, so I want to think about it a bit.  Other then that, my current plan meets out needs pretty well, but costs more than I can afford.   :)

Donna, if what you are paying now is beyond your budget, Freedom is a bit more than that, you may want to consider carefully how much internet you can really afford.
