also if ya put your video streaming to the lowest quality then. youll just be fine. cause ANY HD video will eat up your data pretty quickly. i also watch my anime on online and i put the video quality at about... 480p same thing with videos on youtube 480p. and so on. i also do alotta downloading updates for my xbox one and so on. and i dont use very much data unless its an update onto my computer or my xbox one. it never gives me problems as i tend to let it update itself (even though i have the 150gbs plan)
so it might be your devices that are using the data so fast.

Networks can be strange beasts. Recently a Hughes user was losing data and finally traced it to her husbands laptop that had been denied access during certain hours.
The laptop did an "end-around" connection using her wireless printer as an access point.
I don't have the link to the topic at the moment but I could dig it up if you were interested.

We called customer service and they said that there system was down.. We called back and they said that it looks like you used it during 12am to 5am. I have the free data plan during that time by the way....I tried to explain the CSM on the phone and he could not answer my questions saying that he was having problem with the system again.

I am on Exede 12-25 which means I get 25 gigs per month and once used up it throttled down, a lot. Between 12am to 5 am data is free. On the Liberty 18 plan it stops after I used 18 gigs. That is why I was lucky to switch to the Exede 12-25 plan. Exede 12-25 is a legacy plan and may not be offered anymore as I understand Exede. If I switch back to Liberty 18 or any of the Liberty plans then I can not go back to Exede 12-25.
I use Windows 7 on my PC and laptops. I have settings to let me decide what updates to download. It uses a lot of data for security updates so I do updates between 12 am and 5 am. I do pay a price for disrupted sleep so my wife tells me. TMI!
Also if you use AOL and let it run the news cycle all those graphics and curiosity clicks consume a lot of data. Facebook is a data hog. To add insult, all those pop up advertisers end up being paid for by your data plan.
I have one PC with Windows 10 but I got technical advice from a support service to help me throttle Windows 10 from updating without my permission and only during the early morning hours when it is "free"
So, when I am not using my PC I disconnec it from the internet and when I go back On allow essential updates
