I can no longer receive my Wildblue email on either my phone or my Kindle. Have the ports for uploading and downloading changed?

At the time that my WildBlue email changed its appearance, I was also unable to receive email on either my phone or my Kindle. Have the incoming and outgoing settings changed? (I am still receiving emails on my laptop.)

Note to above. Outgoing settings must be ok since I can still send email from my Kindle and my phone.

My Wildblue email is still working on my Android phone.  Here's what I have for the incoming server settings.  IMAP server is mail.wildblue.net      Security type is  SSL (accept all certificates) and my port is 993.

Don, my settings are the same except that the last time my email stopped arriving in my Inbox, I had to change the server to mail.exede.net (incoming) and smtp.exede.net.  Other than that, my other settings are the same as yours.  I've even tried to change them back to mail.wildblue.net and smtp.wildblue.net but get error messages.  There's got to be something blocking my incoming email but I can't figure it out.  The last email I can find a record of receiving was dated August 7, about the time the WildBlue email appearance changed.

Don, what port are you using for your outgoing email?

Hi Debra, Is your email working now?  If not try to log completely out and log in again instead of using the saved setting.

Diana, I've turned my phone off and back on again but I haven't figured out a way to actually log out of my email on my phone.  As you can see by my response to Don (above), I've tried changing my server settings but nothing is working.  What else could be blocking my incoming email (but not outgoing)?

I've been having exactly the same problem for several days now. I'm also having a lot of trouble logging onto the webmail site for Wildblue. What's going on with Wildblue mail?

I wish I knew.  I'm considering changing my personal account from Wildblue to something else (yahoo?  gmail?).  I have four other email accounts for other purposes and have had no issues with them ever.  If I can't get my incoming Wildblue email back (on my Android phone and Kindle), I'll make the switch.  Don't want to since it's a big inconvenience.

UPDATE:  I deleted my WildBlue email account from both my Kindle and my phone, then added them back using the same incoming and outgoing settings that I'd initially used.  My email accounts are working again.  No idea what might have messed them up  in the first place.
