At least the OP isn't taking it to the FBI.  That has to count for something.

Probably already reported to the local police though. I have an insider at the FBI that told me to expect to see improvements in speed very soon. Said ViaSat was scared and would be adding another satellite.

@  Barry Peepsqueek,

Actually, the TV show Judge Judy is by invitation only by one of their case scouts.

So, you have fluctuating speeds you don't like to see?  Then don't spend all day at speedtest.net, do something else on the Internet.

Don't like fluctuating speeds?  Pay $299/mo. for a business plan except if you go over the 150GB they will still de-prioritize you but only in the evenings.  I guess there is just no safe harbor for solid speeds anywhere.

Don't like fluctuating speeds?  Think of it like the surf... if it was constant, nobody would have any fun.

Is life guaranteed?  hmmm.... NOPE!
Is anybody's internet speed guaranteed?  NOPE!
Are you dumb for thinking it should be. YUP !

Buy a DVD and it will have a solid data speed, unless it was encoded with VBR, see, nothing is constant in the universe.  Get over it.

Hi Barry,

Speeds are marked as "up to" which means it may fluctuate depending on a variety of issues. Outside of a potential issue with equipment (which we can check if you email viasatlistens@viasat.com) things like how much data you've used, how many devices are online at the same time and time of day you're going on (peak hours 5pm-12am is our busiest time and when speeds generally take a dip). Please email us at the email address I've provided or call us at 855-463-9333
