I agree Excede is the worst! They misrepresented their service to me when I signed up. I have had their service for 6 days and have used 10g of data. .At this rate they don't sell a plan large enough to do searchs, social media for 30 days. I did stream one, one hour show and realized how much data it used and stopped streaming. I to have cellular service that I use as a hot spot and have NEVER exceded 5g of data in 30 days.

That would be why I regularly visit Facebook, other social media sites like it and otherwise do web browsing and Google searches just fine, all while using about 1.5 GB over a period of about 12 days.  However, I also limit the speed of my internet connection on my end so those websites are not able to burn up my data.  Then, just now, I downloaded a 1.7 GB file of my choice at full speed and got the job done in about 35 minutes, since the internet speed limit is one that I put in place and that I can remove at any time.

You have a data burner somewhere in your network and on your end.  Are you by chance using Windows 10?  Do you have DirectTV?  Those are known data wasters.

No Direct TV, no data burner. We've been using our IPads for browsing. We do have windows 10 but have not been using the PC.

Somewhere, something is using up data on your end.  You will need to find out what is using your data and put a stop to it.  As I stated above, I have no problem with data but I also keep my system simple and locked down at all times.  The suggestions I made above are only 2 possibilities.  The amount of ways in which data can be wasted seems almost endless.

The following might be of help in tracking down any problems that might exist on your end: https://community.exede.com/exede/topics/excessive-data
