How to view older messages

My hard disk crashed. I am now using the default email reader from WildBlue. It only displays the last 100 messages. I have about 1,000 on the server. How do I get to those older messages? Thank you for your time and attention to this.

You could configure an email client like Thunderbird or Outlook to access your email account. Make sure to set the option to leave a copy of messages on the web if that is what you want.

Thank you but isn't there a way to configure the Wildblue email viewer to show more than 100 messages? It says it is displaying 100 of 1037 messages so it knows the others ore there. There has to be some flag or setting to show the previous 100 etc.

Wouldn't know. I don't use it.

But probably there is an arrow or button to advance to the next 100 messages

You would think there would be an arrow or button but I sure cannot find it after looking for over an hour. Thank you for the reply

Hoorah!! I have found it. The program starts with a display of the newest 100 messages. Then if you scroll down to the bottom of the page it automatically adds about 50 more to the display. Although it will take a bunch of time to view the oldest 50 messages it can be done.

Use your browser to log into your email account.  Next check mark all the messages you want to download and mark them as "Unread",  You can also look in the "Trash" folder and move any of those messages to your "Inbox" and mark them as "Unread"...any messages that you wind up with in the "Inbox" and marked "Unread" can now be downloaded with your email client.  If your email client only transfers 100 messages at a time simply go back to your account with your browser and delete those messages you just downloaded and then your email client will download the next 100...repeat as necessary until you have all your old messages downloaded..
