Hi Kate,  We do not have an opt out at this time.   Thank you for the question. It prompted some conversations and here is an Update to my earlier answer

Kate i am happy that Exede, at this time does not sell our browsing history etc.

The internet, confidentiality, identity theft etc. will reach epidemic proportions in the next year or two and the selling of our data information will be instrumental in accelerating this and result in assisting with all the bad things that the internet can do for individuals.

However don't hold your breath on how long Exede will not sell your personal data.  As soon figure out the how to do this for the most money  your data will most likely be sold.

It is a shame the internet puts so much great information available to the average person, student, family but then comes the really dark side.

Here is a thought Exede, your prices are too high, your service too slow, but you can still be a leader in data security/confidentiality  and show appreciation to your customers by not caving in for a profit at our expense.

Exede can take a leadership roll in customer data security.

Wouldn't that be a noble thing to do.

PS  Diana, pass my suggestion up the line, thanks.

If a satellite competitor to exede offers an opt out, there could be a huge shift in people leaving exede,  Think about that.

You could try the Tor browser and start with a search page like duck, duck go or startpage.com.  Not sure how much info this would keep from Exede/

Yeah I kinda am worried about my privacy when companies and governments can tract everywhere you surf, what you buy, your banking, political beliefs, your religious beliefs, doctors, drugs and on and on and they make money selling this info.
