Your wifi password is different from your modem/router login password.
What is your modem model?
To do a full factory reset, use a paperclip to press and hold in the reset button. Hold it in for 10+ seconds (the longer the better (some routers/modems need 30 seconds!)).
In your url bar enter in (some modems may be and under username enter: admin , password: admin. If your modem has an "Admin Password" printed on the sticker, use this instead.

While doing this, be sure to connect wired, as it'll reset your wifi name and password.
