I have been a customer for about 4 months,or less. Two year contract. Worse mistake besides having dish I have made in years.

Hi Johnny
The cancellation fee is $15 per each month remaining on your agreement

well, once you cancel, you have to wait for them to send you a box so you can send the equipment back or they will charge you 350.00. while you're waiting for "the box", another billing cycle goes thru your bank account, even though you have terminated the service.
AND, the gods forbid if the address gets screwed up, cuz now there's another billing cycle that will go thru your bank account even though they will profess that you are cancelled and the email notification is a mistake.
i am still waiting for them to send the boxes, conveniently after the billing date.
i have only used this service for 2 months. 2 yr contract, no forgiveness. pay your way out. well, i paid, the full two years and they are still taking money out of my account.
i keep calling and get the same shit. at least the last time the employee was American and i could understand what she was saying.
they are predatory and not a mistake I will repeat, ever.

I have to ask....what made you signup for Exede in the first place? And please don't say to save $10 a month in a bundling deal.

Well will tell you.I had u-verse,the slowest they had. And direct tv. Internet was slow as watching grass grow. So after being bombarded with dish ads a lot,in one of my stupid days I thought well let's go with them.It took three days to run out of liberty 12.This is worse than direct tv ever was.Think I will go with amazon and kodi..I am 69 om a fixed income, own my own home, but have to watch what I spend.

Getting married is the worst mistake I ever made. Must be nice to have a life where signing up for Exede and Dish are the worst mistakes ever made.

I'm slipping, I've only used 19 GB this week - terrible of me. I need something new to download or I'm never gonna use 150 GB and here I was going for 500 GB in one month LOL
(I'm joking, I don't plan on downloading six or seven new games in one month, I can't afford that many of the big ones in a month.)

Stephen, I'm nobody to fear or even pay attention to and so, given that I am of no consequence then it will be of little concern as I offer to you that of all of the comments that I have encountered on this site, yours most often are, to my way of thinking, the rudest and cruelest posted.
I don't like to turn issues into matters personal. The subject at hand should always be the focus to my way of thinking. But sometimes people in their exuberance transcend the bounds of propriety and need to be reigned in or so it seems to me.
I offer humbly that I believe that you need to be nice. You have, it appears, some valuable insights into many of the matters addressed hereabouts. Don't pollute your skills with your capacity for pettiness.
with all due respect...

I have had via sat for less than a week and yesterday I get an email saying that I have used all my data for the month. Signing up with Viasat is the worst mistake I have made in my life. My speed is so slow I can't even stream Hulu or Netflix. I am going to bite the bullet and pay the cancellation fee ( worth it to get them out my life) and be sure to spread the word like wild fire.

Streaming can use a ton of data, that's what the Video Data Extender is there to help with. Yes, it's a learning process but there are ways to maximize your data and, help it last longer. We all had to learn that and, most of us did so the hard way, by running out in a few days.

Nice, Bev.
How about:
"Mr. Sanders, what you report sounds extreme and completely untenable. Your situation and experience need to be delved into and some resolution needs to be formulated. Please, contact [somebody who cares] and allow us to resolve your issues."
Geez, Louise, I swear that they are all still in diapers.
