How do you know if an offered plan is on VS1 or VS2?

I am on a HEAVILY congested beam and keep waiting for Viasat 2 to come to the rescue.  I keep hoping for more plans to be offered.

Last month I was offered "Unlimited Silver 25"  25 Mbps and 150 "unlimited" gigs.  Last night I checked again and now my only option is "Unlimited Gold 12" for basically the same price (almost 3 TIMES what Im paying now!) and the "unlimited" data cap is down to 100!  I can only assume this plan is still on Viasat 1?

WOW!  What gives?  Same price for "better video quality" with less data and slower speed?  And all this time Ive been waiting for things to get BETTER?

Honestly the 12 Mbps doesnt bother me ... WHEN I GET IT, but lowering the "limit," on the "unlimited" plan bothers me a lot since I know on my congested beam on Viasat 1, once I go over, my internet will be useless the remainder of my billing cycle.

I have stayed loyal through all this, but a person can only take so much.  Enough with the empty promises already!  Quit teasing us with these limited, unlimited plans to create the illusion of progress.  Financially I can not, and morally I refuse to pay 3 times more for the same substandard service in a shiny new package.

In early February Viasat significantly reduced the amount of priority data in their "Unlimited" plans.

If I had to guess when they first offered the "unlimited" plans they offered too much priority data and speeds suffered for everybody as a result. So they cranked down priority data levels to help deliver better speeds to those who stay under they priority cap.
