I was informed I could change the telephone number exede gave me to my home landline telephone number. I can't find information on how to do that.

I'm on the line with them now - just switched to AT&T bundle - phone/internet/tv - Viasat is handling the internet/ phone part, using "exede", whatever that is. They're telling me I can't port my old landline number - that I'm stuck with the new number they gave me. Just spoke to a Supervisor & she is no help - she's transferring me to another department I just learned that Viasat is not the problem; they can't port my landline phone number to Viasat because TWC will not release my phone number to them!! It's a mess - I don't know what at TWC can help, or if they even will help. We've had same home phone # about 7 years and it will cause us an enormous inconvenience if we have to give out a new # to hundreds of people, also problems with resumes and job applications (where I would have to contact a lot of people before they could contact me) I don't know if this helps, but the bottom line is that TWC is refusing to release my landline phone number to the new company - i thought that was illegal here in the State of Texas!

Barbra,
Call Customer Care at 855-463-9333. Tell them you want to 'port' your phone number. The process can take up to two weeks to complete, I believe.
