How do I see what my data is being used for?

I want to know if I'm getting charged for data I use between 12- 5am.

Vicki, they are working on building a usage tool that will give us that. In the meantime you can email your account and contact information to exedelistens@viasat.com and, request a usage review. 

You can also use an independent monitoring program such as those included with some routers or, Glasswire. That won't tell you if you are being charged for free zone usage but, it will show you what is using your data.

Note that if you have a Liberty plan with a free zone that is 3MA to 6 AM. Classic plans have the midnight to 5 AM free zone.

One of the easiest things to do is sign up for text alerts. You can then be assured whether your nightly downloads have counted on your plan. I’ve never had a problem with this. Most “missing “ data is either a delay in the system updating or background updates we don’t always see. Windows 10 is a beast if your settings aren’t correct.

I should add if you text usg you get an immediate reply of your data usage.

The ESVT web tool that exede recently decommissioned worked extremely well for this. 

I'm not sure why they took the site offline.  It's almost as if exede doesn't want customers to have the knowledge needed monitor and manage their data.
