My first 24 hours with VIASAT and "Boom". I Can not gain access to the "Viasat WiFi Gateway" modem to see what the password is to set my laptop connection to the modem. The installer did connect my smart phone to the modem, but he gave me no signin information to allow me to get into the modem.
I have tried all UI/Password combinations per the help links to get signed into the modem, but nothing works. I even tried to reset the modem as directed by would of the links that should return the modem to the default settings. But i still can not get into the modem. I have timed out with the 3-strikes and your out pop-ups for a minute. Help! This is to early in the game for this issue.

if your playing first person shooters like call of duty or csgo or something like those... then.. it will most likely not work... cause the ping is usually around 500 to 800 for the ping... so yeah... its not the best for first person shooters and stuff...
as for the WiFi login and password... I can help ya there... one of the mods here will help ya with that :3

Not looking for gaming solutions. Sorry Deku, You must have taken my post wrong when you related gaming to the word "game" I used in my original post. What I meant by that phrase/sentance was, "This is to early in my using of viasat for this issue, after all, Viasat was just installed for me on the 19th of January 2019.
I would just like to sign-in to the Viasat WiFi Gateway (VWG) router to find out what the current wireless key code is. The installer did something when he setup my phone to run off the wireless VWG. I have tried a reset procedure and use the default PW on the sticker label of the VWG but it does not work. HELP.
Thanks,
Ron.

Ron go to http://192.168.100.1/?page=basicStatus and sign in there. Default username and password is admin/admin.

The username and password are printed on the bottom of the Gateway modem, the triangular one. There are separate signons for the modem and the WiFi

Thanks for your reply "Bev", but the link you suggested is not valid with my particular wireless modem by viasat modem. ( Viasat WiFi Gateway Modem)

"...and use the default PW on the sticker label of the VWG but it does not work"
Use your phone to take a picture of the label
Then zoom in on the label
Good chance you are not reading the teenie tiny type correctly
I further suggest you login to the router (different password) and change the wifi password to a better one & use a sharpie or piece of tape to write the new password on the modem

Another way to find your password if you have an iphone & mac is look in your Keychain on your mac.
The password from your phone will be in your Mac's Keychain

Thanks "Steve". No combinations of the UI & PW information on the bottom label nor the front label work.
Thanks "Bob", but, my phone is a android based OS. and I already snapshot the labels to make sure of the passwords. Is there a chance the UI is something other than "admin"?

One time I ran into something similar and by launching a browser in incognito/stealth mode I was able to accomplish what I needed without getting an error.
Have you tried on your computer to go straight to
192.168.1.1:8080
then use
admin for UserName
and the 16 characters of the router password?
A long shot for your phone:

I did finally get in by using UI "vsat-5 g-9DCF74" & PW per the label on the bottom. When it opened i see wifi settings for both "vsat-24g-9DCF74" & "vsat-5 g-9DCF74". But the sign-in PW I used did not match what was shown in the opened screen.
