I'm trying to retrieve my forgotten Username/password - How am I supposed to answer obscure security questions that I've never seen before? I didn't provide these questions, or their answers at any previous time.

This is just another one of the many features that the new Zimbra mail platform has built in to really frustrated Exede users.

Well,it has certainly managed to frustrate this one - to the point that I'm considering taking a shotgun blast at my Exede satellite dish.

I finally, after about 45 minutes on the phone, got my Thunderbird email working again, after the tech gave me a new temporary password. Now I find that I can't log in to Exede's Acct Mgmt page; it won't accept my username or password, and when I go through the ordeal to get new ones, it asks me security questions I've never seen before and to which I never previously provided answers. AARGH!

Hello Bandera, sorry for all frustration this is causing you. If you don’t recognize any of the security questions then your password will have to be reset to which we can assist if you send your account and contact info to exedelistens@viasat.com. For a quicker response you can give our Customer Care Line a call at 1-855-463-9333. Thank you

Lindsey, Exede has NEVER previously asked for answers to any of these security questions - which I have never seen before, while NORMAL websites give you an option list of questions and store your responses, Why have I never seen this? And why, at this point in my several correspondences in which I've given my account number, don't you know it?

And now, just 4-5 days into my current billing cycle, how have I managed to use 70% of my low - for the price - allowance, which I can normally STRETCH (& it's a stretch) to 30 days?

Hopefully, as soon as Viasat realizes that I can no longer log-in to buy additional bandwidth to accommodate their ridiculous pricing structure, they'll fix this.

Your migration to your new platform has so far been a disaster; maybe correspondence with AT&T, your new master, will get this fixed?

As much as i dislike HughesNet, they ARE starting to look better and better..

Bandera Jim, you can click on the little arrow next to your name in the upper right, then click on Security Questions, and put in your question and answer. This is new with Zimbra email.

BTW, ViaSat is the owner of Exede and Wildblue, and not AT&T. You may be confusing Directv, who has recently been bought by AT&T.
