HORRIBLE SERVICE

I really am fed up with my internet service stopping multiple times a day, everyday starting at 2a.m. and continuing on through out the day. I am tired of exedes excuses. I really hate to even pay my bill since I basically only receive service about half the time. This kind of service is unacceptable! My next step is to report it the Utilities Board.

Have you tried sending an email to the moderators, who are Exede employees at corporate? They can look into why you are getting those multiple resets every day. Send the email to exedelistens@viasat.com. Include a description of your problem along with your account number and a phone number you can be reached at. Do  not post that information here as this is a public forum.

I agree with you completely. I have been looking up stuff on my laptop all day, just basic internet searching and it keeps disconnecting. It has happened at least 4 times in the 4 hours I have been on it. I have noticed it does it on my phone also. The connect to wifi box randomly pops up because I am not connected to the internet anymore. I am more than fed up with Exede and I will do everything in my power to make sure that no one I know gets internet service through them. First off when we went to get the internet it took 3 weeks for them to install it. Then I was billed when I was told I would have free installation. I was also told it would be $74 a month for 3 years which is a lot but it was my only choice. Now I am getting bills for $90 a month and have made several phone calls to Exede and there is "nothing they can do for me". So I was straight up lied to about the bill and now they have my information so they just keep taking money from me every month- a sum that I was lied to about- and half the time the internet doesn't even work. The only time I can ever stream is around 1 am which is a time that I don't care to be streaming anyways. They stick you in a contract right off the bat and don't give any sort of trial. I would have cancelled the first week because of the awful service and the lies I was told but now I would have to pay a termination fee. Must be you can't give anyone a trial when you know that your service is awful because no one would actually follow through and sign the contract to get the internet. Now they are taking over $2,000 from me for the next 2 years for completely awful service.
