Unhappy with early termination fees

This company is absolutely HORRIBLE. I would not recommend it to anyone! They forged my e-signature and made me pay the early termination fee anyway. I haven't even had the service for a week, it hasn't worked since it was set up. They apparently condone their employees agreeing to terms for customers. I was NEVER presented a tablet or anything to sign and agree to any terms or conditions. They still made me pay half the early termination fees.

Eventually there will be court proceedings against EXEDE/WILDBLUE/VIASTAT'S BIG WIGS for their horrible customer service and business practices!!!  I have been documenting numerous encounters of my own and from other dissatisfied customers. They are dishonest and robbing people blind.  They remove your comments and there are also the so-called customer just like us..... posting as technicians.  We should be receiving the utmost attention from the COMPANY that is taking our money.

Hi Traci,

The electronic agreement can be signed on a tablet or with an email invite to you. Most companies nowadays go paperless and opt for an electronic signature (see also: leases and loans). These are accepted as terms and conditions for the service and the fact that a 24 month agreement is required to be disclosed to all customers, so very rarely should any customer be surprised that the service requires an agreement.

The waiver you were granted can only be made by a corporate employee so that was the judgement call made. If you want to send an email over to exedelistens@viasat.com we can look at your electronic agreement and investigate if anything outside our standards may have been done. Obviously we do not condone this happening should it be the case.
