Slowest internet. Just found out we should’ve had our internet service updated a long time ago.....AND no one even let us know, until we went to cancel our plan!!!! Thanks a lot for nothing!!

When you cancel you have to call and you're passed to customer retention which will do its best to up-sell to a different plan that may be available (otherwise they're not doing their jobs either).

She's complaining that Viasat never told her about newer plans that may have better suited her needs until cancelling. It's sort of like the old Ally Bank commercial where if you wanted a real pony you had to ask... otherwise you got the toy pony. For example, remember when free zone was first offered on Liberty plans. Many felt that their Liberty Plans should have been automatically upgraded to include a free zone - instead you had to ask and specifically switch plans. Viasat works in mysterious ways.

Depending on her plan, she might have been better off NOT upgrading.

Could have ended up paying more money for less flexibility.

But if you like your plan, you can keep your plan!
