Coming up on my 24 months of service and been on Liberty 12 plan. Basically been just using my Unlimited AT&T service because 12 gigs doesnt last and then speeds of .3 meg doesnt cut it. Was hoping the new plans would keep me as a customer but with price to gigs add in the Video throttling of the new plans just isnt worth holding out hope.

Ill stick with the AT&T even after im over the 22 gig on it the slow downs are few and far between. The upper management better get it together at Exedes because as more Cellular/LEO or other competition comes along they are going to lose alot of people.

You are looking at your options and making an opinion of what you feel works best for you. I applaud you for that!

Be nice if you had an option basically a slider and could select data speeds or bucket size. example you select 30 meg speed your bucket is 70 gig. slide the speed down to say 10 meg and you now have a 150 gig bucket. Letting the customer decide what works best for them.

Yeah, these new plans aren't impressive at all. I read in an article that Viasat lost customers last year and I'm sure they will lose customers this year. I don't see the Viasat 2 bringing in many new customers in the USA. The management may want to improve their plans and prices.

Have you checked to see if a new plan on Viasat-2 is available for you?

Or are you just expecting them to install new hardware and move you onto VS2 with your current plan?

I called today, still not available to me. Customer service told me a few months ago they moved me to new sat, they lied.

From what a tech told me, that the new Sat. is for packages that are 30Mbps+.

Judging from what I'm experiencing with the Unlimited Silver package, that is supposed to be 25Mbps. Those people will probably see 12Mbps at best for $150 or more.

I feel you Ronald.  I have unlimited T-moble ($40 a month) supposed to throttle at 22Gigs. I'm at 50Gigs now and its still faster then my Excede. 15Mbps down and 3Mbps up. I just wish I could get cell service at home and ditch these dial up speeds, they are charging me way to much for.
