Trouble streaming Netflix and YouTube

I am a homebound handicapped exede customer with the liberty 18 boost 25 plan, I was told when I moved from my former company that exede was the way to go for good reliable internet, however once I moved it has been a bumpy ride daily and when I contact the help desk they want to make me wait and then disconnect me, I have had this issue over and over sometimes 3 and 4 times a day, my data doesn't last until my due date, I can not stream Netflix or youtube, I can not depend on this net for my daily needs, will it ever get any better? I hope so!

Unfortunately streaming Netflix and Youtube are major ways to consume data. However with the launch of ViaSat 2 in March/April, we'll see some plans with more robust options that will help customers that like to stream.

If you'd like you can email us at exedelistens@viasat.com and we can review your data and usage and maybe see what can be done to stretch your data a little further.

You might want to see if you can get Netflix and Youtube to stream at a lower resolution.  That should not make much of a difference in the video quality but could really drop your data usage.  Also, if you have specific videos you watch more than once, you can download them to your computer first and then view them from there.
