Please see my previous posts:

and
https://community.viasat.com/viasat/topics/email-server-does-not-refresh?topic-reply-list[settings][...

I was finally able to clear out my Spam box, but it took all night. Now I see there are already over 2500 msgs in there again, and they're multiplying steadily. On my laptop, it took over 5 hrs to receive my WB emails, and I'm at work, with a superfast connection.

What's going on with the Wildblue server? Please help!

Hi Lorraine

This isn't a live support route for Viasat but I would recommend calling our team at 855-463-9333.

Thanks, Brad - I realize that, but I also know that you monitor this forum, so I would think that something as significant as a server dysfunction might draw some attention. But I will give a call, as well.

I found some interesting issues. When checking mail.exede.net for messages to a @wildblue.net a customer is not receiving new emails. This seems related to a change from mx02.viasat.aga.synacor.com to mx02.jasper.bos.sync.lan as every email I check from mail.exede.net is last postmarked with mx02.viasat.aga.synacor.com. When I check messages from mail.wildblue.net, the newer messages that don't show on exede.net are all postmarked with mx02.jasper.bos.sync.lan.

I logged in with open ssl and noticed the following discrepancy in the number of email messages in the inbox.

If you notice, the UIDNEXT value is 1361 in the first example, and 13921 in the next example.  Since UID numbers are never reused, this is an extreme example of two IMAP servers that are very far out of sync.

I recommend you sign up for a free gmail account.

Thanks for the info.

I would but it is actually my elderly family member that is having the issue and they are kind of set in their ways. I could switch them over to mail.wildblue.net but I heard that viasat encourages the use of mail.exede.net and I don't want to have to make more trips out to see them than I have to as they live a distance away. Hoping viasat folks will see this and take action.
