Help , I cannot find out where my 10 gigs go every month

Gigs used up to fast, seems without cause. Have tried password on router. takeing my TV off line.  use interent sparsly. no movie down or up loads, only with occasion u-tube, how to video.  My story still the same.. using up service way before billing due.

Did you remember to check the resolution on youtube?  The speed on Exede is often high enough to cause the videos to  default to HD and even short videos at the HD setting can use up data very fast so that is one thing to check on and set that down to the lowest resolution you can tolerate.  And I'm sure you did already but be sure you have an ad blocker installed and a flash blocker on your browser.  If you use Facebook make sure the auto play video setting is shut off, even if you had done that before double check that, my husband found that setting had be turned back on and he didn't do that and a couple other people had also mentioned here they also had that happen to them.  Good luck, hope you can find a cause to fix.
