Having problems getting on the internet with my Viasat account. Worked fine until just two days ago when suddenly I couldn't get on anymore. I live in Arkansas. and use a wired connection, and ever since 4pm two days ago I've just been unable to get on the internet even though it detects the router.  Usually I just insert the cable and away I go, but two days ago it worked for five seconds then BAM no more internet.  Thought it was a sunspot because its a satellite but its still happening two days later at night.  Had to use a friend's internet to post this.  What is going on?

Bad modem? Bad tria? Bad cable?

Plug the computer directly into the Viasat modem, call tech support, and diagnose from there.

Have you powered everything off for a couple of minutes and then restarted everything?  Modem first, then when it is back online, restart the router.  Then when the router is online, restart your computer.

If that doesn't work bypass the router.

The only thing different between V and AOL of the 90’s is I don’t hear the shhhhhhhhhhhhhh carrier.

I don’t think they are even even attempting to fulfill their median email.

Ethical management of their company, what’s that?

My opinion is you will have to engineer your own workaround or change your plan. And then wait for them to tighten the screws again in the future.

This company lacks integrity, ethical management and commitment to their customers and commitments.
