Having problems activating exede voice with new modem.

I have now called the support number, started an online chat, and sent an email. I had received the new modem and got it set up and the internet working, but when I go to activate the exede voice, it says "invalid account". I used the new account number starting with a 4. The person on the phone couldn't figure it out and said that they'd reach out to me when it was figured out. The problem is, it's been quite a while since that phone call and I work from  home and really need the phone working as soon as possible. Help would be really appreciated, and thank you so much!

Did you also subscribe to the optional "Voice" service?  It does not come automatically with the new modem...it is an extra service and costs extra......

We already have it, we've been a customer for awhile now. Just switched to an unlimited internet plan, so we received the new modem. Just trying to get the phone re-activated. thank you

Make sure you log in to the Alanza portal using your phone number and password for Exede voice.

If it continues to give you fits, call Customer Care form a cell phone at 855-463-9333 or, if you cannot call, email your account and contact information (including Exede Voice Number) to exedelistens@viasat.com and ask them to make sure everything is okay on their end for Voice.

I don't know about other phone carriers? I was on Verizon (wired) every time it rained the static made the phone worthless. I jumped to Vonage and they're great. More features and half the cost. Thanks

OK Michelle, before you upgraded to the new wifi modem how was your system configured to use VOIP...did/do you have an external router in the loop?

Now with the wifi modem how do you configure it to use VOIP?  Does anyone else have the new wifi modem and has activated VOIP service?
