Have tried to connect Ethernet cable directly to laptop and and still have no internet connection. One sometimes 2 of the blue lights are on

That sounds like your dish is out of alignment, or a tree has leafed out and is now blocking the signal. It may be a faulty modem but that would be the last thing I would suspect.

Check for anything blocking the line of site to outer space from the dish, if there is something, correct that. If not, you probably need a service call, so contact support and do the troubleshooting they suggest then, if nothing works, arrange for a service call to your home.
