Been with Exede for just about 1 month now. Lindsey had the Modem replaced and I returned and replaced the new NetGear Router (R6200) but problems still persist. After ReBooting the Modem/Router I seem to get dl speeds up to 20 megs, but then it degenerates to below 5 and keeps dropping down to 1 or 2 megs then locks up (no internet connection) and I ReBoot again and the cycle continues. Have to ReBoot every other day at this point in time. Modem firmware version is I tried going direct from modem to computer but getting the same issue. I am on the Essential 10 plan and am good with the 10 GB limit but certainly wasn't told about the speed issues when I signed up for the account. Received an email from Brad at Exede and he said the speeds go down to 5-7 megs during busy times. Just don't understand why Exede would be selling more accounts if the beam was already overloaded but I really don't believe this overloaded beam is the cause of my problem of having to ReBoot so often. A few days ago I started keeping an excel log on the speeds I'm getting and when I have to ReBoot so maybe that will help them troubleshoot. I've checked the modem status page several times and all seems proper, all green check marks.

Anybody have any thoughts on anything I can do to rectify this problem? Sure not very happy with the system in my first month. I've sent several emails to exedelistens but no resolution so far.

Honestly Jim, there's not a whole lot to add. Sounds like you have done all the trouble shooting you can from your side.  Next step would be to get Exede Diana or Exede Lindsey involved to see what they can do for you.  Send them an email to exedelistens@viasat.com with your account and contact information and reference this post or explain the issue in the email to them and they will contact you and see what they can do for you.
