has DAP'd speed improved?

I have not been DAP'd very often but this last time, my service was sluggish but entirely usable. I did not notice anything that did not work, and consistently saw 0.5Mb down and as high as 3Mb up while DAP'd. beam 329 and a recent modem firmware update to UT-3.7.0.3.0.   has anyone else seen a vast improvement in the handling of DAP'd speed throttling?

That's my question too.  Also, of course, if they quit BLOCKING some SSL connections during DAP ?

Before I couldn't get on google talk, yahoo, and use the SSL ports on IRC (6697, or even custom BNC made ports) .  Last month they worked fine during the DAP, and I was able to browse about 15 first part of day -60 KB later that day /sec .

Which was all doable, sure things took a few seconds to load, but they were a loadin proper.  I said to hell with it all and did what I wanted too, played games all day online with the same lag I see during 12-5 AM.

I sure hope it wasn't a one trick fluke pony.  It was sometime during the last metered day I went over.

The month before last we were DAPed for a day and didn't really have any problems. Ever site I went to worked fine unless there was a LOT of pictures, then of course it was slow. My wife said she hit a site or two that didn't work right, but most did.

This was the first time we had been slowed in a year and a half and the first time it was our fault. Unless we need more than a day more we won't be buying extra data.

other note: Steam would connect during DAPed hours too. (Part of the stop blocking thing?)

Nope. My download speeds are still averaging about 18 Mbps, down from the 20 to 22 Mbps of a year ago, even at their slowest they are above 8 Mbps. I am in central New York state, our beam is not overloaded at this time. You may have equipment problems, dish out of alignment, or cable problems. What are your modem stats? RxSNR should be 5 db or above, and cable resistance less than 5 ohms, and no red check marks showing up on the tria page.

You can see the modem status at http://192.168.100.1/?page=modemStatus

Yes. I've been getting terrible speeds for the past few months. Even had a technician come out. There was consensation on the inside of the lens, but nothing he could do about it. He said that the condensation would not affect the signal. He tightened all of the connections and that seemed to help a bit, but I'm still having trouble with having to reload pages over and over because they won't load the first time or just take forever to load.
