Hello,
I use to be a dsl customer in my area. Over the last month, I had issues with the company not wanting to repair the lines. I researched what my other choices would be dial up or satellite internet. I done a lot of research and found Exede to be the best satellite service. I signed up got the service installed. It has been working great. I had a few issues starting off called customer service and they resolved the problems without any issues on and off the phone in 30 minutes tops. Please keep up the great service and you will keep me as a happy loyal customer J/

The Exede service for me has been everything that I was told it would be before I signed up for the service. Further, over time, their data packages have been getting steadily better and it is my understanding that they are going to continue to do so.

Michael, I think you will enjoy your Exede internet. I have had Exede since April 2012, and had Wildblue Legacy prior to that, starting in April 2008. I have had nothing but great service, with only two problems with the equipment, which was resolved very quickly by the Exede technical team.
My internet options are limited to two providers, and I feel that I am with the better of the two. I can't even get dial up, because the land lines are in such poor condition.

That’s good to know. I live in an area that
only has DSL service form the old sprint days. The lines are extremely old and
not maintained. Every time it would thunderstorm it would hit the DSLAM or
water would get into the old cables underground. Mediacom also serves the area
but not my location. I am not willing to pay 80k to get cable. So far, I am
happy with the service it does everything I want it to. Allows me to download
steam games, play online games yes it has a little lag but better than no
internet. I can watch YouTube and Netflix even upload to my let’s play channel.

I too, along w/Steve Frederick, been with Exede/Wildblue since 2007, and have changed data plans when they become available. I've been patiently waitng for Viasat2 and now it seems it's on schedule for a late April launch. lately we've spent most of our Data Cycle in Liberty Pass. There are many reasons for this which are somewhate explainable - mostly in my own household. Still a happy customer - we are still able to get our internet things done while on Liberty Pass. Just wondering what the new data plans that Viast2 will bring to the table?

You know a while back I couldn't understand why or how someone, a residential customer, would need a 250 GB data plan until my next door neighbor bought an XBOX 1. The game that came with it required a download/update that was 72 GB.

For a download or update that size, I would insist on getting it on blu-ray DVDs and have it mailed to me. I would never accept any company, and especially Microsoft, wanting to waste my bandwidth in that manner. It is unbelievable how cavalier software companies have become with resources that are not theirs.

Tirzy, you are already on the 150 GB plan, which only a very small percentage of Exede subscribers can have. The rest of us are limited to 25 GB or less. Before wishing for such high data limits, how about letting the rest of us get up to 100 GB or so.
You are fortunate to be able to enjoy the Freedom Plan.

350gb with liberty pass would be nice. hopefully with ViaSat 2 it will be possible. I am thankful to still have internet after the data cap.

I suspect that it will be more like 50 GB, and with a liberty pass that is not quite as congested in some places as the current one is. However, once you weed out all of the waste (e.g. Microsoft automatic updates; xbox 72 GB (!!) games), I suspect that even 50 GB will be plenty hot enough for you.
I have the 12 GB plan with liberty pass and so far, only about 40% of that is used by everyday internet activities, leaving 7.2 GB each month for me to download larges files of my choice here and there.
