got a new phone- can't connect it to my wifi. it says "authentication problem" HOW CAN I CHECK MY PASSWORD?

Assuming it's a simple case of forgetting the password, see the following for general procedures that can be used to locate the network password (or security key):

Provide some detail on your router and what operating system(s) you can access it from for more targeted info (if needed).

I'd start with Old Labs suggestion. A new phone will need your WiFi password properly entered when setting up.
