I have had Gmail and Exede for years now. But when I installed this new WiFi Modem my gmail stopped working. This pops up now and I haven't changed any settings in the mail settings.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Gmail account. The host 'pop.gmail.com' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly.
Server: 'pop.gmail.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0D
Protocol: POP3
Port: 995
Secure(SSL): Yes
Socket Error: 11003

Anyone know what's going on here?  I am having to go online to get my mail and don't care for that at all. All worked fine til I went to this new modem/router.
Thanks
Dave

If you are on a VPN, you might try disabling the VPN then try again. Gmail has been acting up for me too but on the smpt side. Good Luck!

Hey Diana
My modem is fine.
It was Microsoft that screwed things up with a update.
I am really sick of Microsoft about now. I been using MS Products for about 40 years. I started with MS-DOS in 1973. But it's as bad now as it was then. I do have LINUX MINT 17 I use a lot but there isn't too much out there for it.
They are discontinuing the Windows Live Mail around the first of the year. So there is a lot of us that are going to be STRANDED.
