Getting frustrated with data speeds

I'm currently inside the Free Zone. My speeds are only 300 KB/s MAX. I normally get 1.5 MB/s atleast.

Can someone tell me what the issue is.

I've hooked directly up into the modem and the speed still lurk on the low side.

I agree with Ray's suggestion as the first thing to do.

Have you checked your modem status?

Click this link and it will open a new window with your modems current settings. Look for any red checks or out of range signals.
